So i'm gunna pierce my right hip myself, i did my left a while back with a actually surface piercing jewlry but i got into a fight and it got infected so now i wanna know if it would be better to have a curved bar in or a straight one? please critics dont even bother telling me its a bad idea, its my choice i know the causions

A one that curves up at the edges but is straight through the middle will be best. So it looks something like this: \______/ - with the balls on the end obviously. That way you have less of a chance of rejection. If you can't get one use curved. =) Good luck!

Neither. They will both reject right away. You need a surface barbell for hip piercings if you expect them to last at all.

And uh yeah, DIY surface piercings will not last.
