I have many tattoos and I usually don't like the really girly ones but this is pretty. Anyways, your tattoo WILL fade no matter if you do everything perfect. Your skin goes through many different periods in your life and it will fade. If it has color it will fade quicker. But don't forget it's permanent and will always be there so it won't fade away, the colors will just slowly wash out after a period of time. A tattoo is basically just a scarring of your body and it's like a cut. Your body tries to repair itself. Most tattoo artist guarantee their work and will give free touch ups for a year.


Basically it will fade, it won't stay super colorful forever but for a year you should have free touch ups and after that you can always get it touched up but after the year you'd have to pay but you can keep it very colorful throughout your whole life!

i like it, but if you become pregnant it's going to stretch and look terrible. hate to break it to you.

i've had my tattoo for like 3 years now, and it's with purple and pink and blue, a little bit of yellow, but it has not yet fade.. it might has lost it's shine cuz it's been 3 years, but all the colors are there and visible.

Its really cool. The pattern of the sun looks like mosaic.

Cute! To prevent fading use sunscreen (even on cloudy days) if your foot is exposed!

In general, I hate tattoos. But it is pretty, and it won't fade as long as you take care of it the first few weeks.

I love it! Very nice.
Your body forms a protective layer of skin over the ink, and this mutes it somewhat, but if you take care of it properly, and use sunblock after it heals, it should hold up very well.

Foot tattoos are pretty easy to take care of, as long as you keep it moist and wrap it with plastic when wearing shoes it will be okay. I got my first foot tattoo when I was 17 and recently got it touched up because color in any tattoo does fade over time. I suggest getting it touched up after it heals to add a bit more color to it.

Its a lovely tattoo :D Make sure your not over moisturising though. Just do as your tattoo artist recommended. It shouldn't fade really at all. Well wear ;)
