My hair gets brassy help!!!!!?

I'm leaving on a trip for a few months and wont have the chance to touch up my hair(unless i do it myself.) My hair is dirty blonde and when I dye it it usually looks really good then turns brassy(there will be a lot of sun where I'm going.) Anyone have some tips for how to dye my hair so that the shade doesnt change every other day and also that it doesnt get brassy. I want to go medium or light blonde.
There are hair toners you can buy at any beauty store that you can use to slow down the process of your hair fading into the brass look. Just make sure to select closest to your color.

And lastly, when you reach your destination, try and buy mild shampoo and conditioner made for color. You don't have to buy a very expensive one since if you're flying they wont let you bring in onboard.
