-dont put eyeliner on with out mascare, it makes you look like you have dark eyes instead of shaping your eyes
-this is just for when you are putting it on, put your eye makeup first so just in case you have to wipe off your makeup, you dont have to wipe off your coverup and then put it on again
-dont put just bottom mascare on, it looks weird. its fine to put just top mascara on
-and, dont change drastically.. change a little bit at a time.

Pink gloss is HAWT right now, make sure it goes with your outfit. Sparkles and shimmers are cool. Use a little mascara (don't know if you do already) some fun eye liners like purple and blue. Green eyeliners and shadows will highlight brown eyes...Use purple and blue shadows for blue eyes. Have fun and experiment a little over the summer. Do some different stuff with your hair to change up your looks a bit. Sorry I don't have a clear description of you so I am just throwing stuff out there. Good luck!

Longer lasting makeup;
Eyeliner: Set it with a powder eyeshadow of the same color.
Eyeshadow: ALWAYS use a eyeshadow primer. They are a little expensive for the good quality ones but so worth it. Urban decay primer potion or too faced shadow insurance.
Face: You really shouldn't wear foundation in the eight grade. Stick to a tinted moisturizer. It's thick and heavy in your face like foundation.
Lips: Always use a lipbalm. Most people don't it makes a huge difference. You could have the worlds stickiest lipgloss, but if you use lipbalm first it will feel sooo smooth.

You're still young, so don't go for anything too crazy. Try using bright colored eyeliners in place of brown or black. These can bring a lot of attention to you're eyes without using alot of eyeshadows or mascara. And if you're using bright colors on your eyes, stick to light or nude colors on your lips.

Well if you said what you wanted to change exactly then that would help, but I'll do my best.

For eyes, don't put too much eye makeup on, I know it sounds like I'm saying what everyone else says, but I wore a lot of makeup at the beginning of the year and looking back at my pictures I realized that when you're this young that much makeup makes you look like a slut.
(all shadows listed below are Urban Decay)
If you have light blue eyes, dark brown and bronze eye shadows work the best. (try Smog and Baked)
If you have dark blue eyes (like me) then gold and champagne eye shadows look best. (try Half Baked and Sellout)
If you have brown eyes, pink and silver eye shadows look best. (try SWF and Vapor)
If you have dark brown (almost black) eyes, brighter pinks and sheer, light blues look pretty. (try Hotpants and Speed)
If you have green eyes, purple is the go-to colour. (try Grifter and Ecstasy)
And finally, if you have hazel eyes, purple, pink and blue look pretty. (try Stalker, Woodstock and Kiddie Pool)
And of course neutral, smokey eyes look good on everyone.
After you apply eyeshadow, put on eyeliner and mascara. If you want to use liquid eyeliner, my favorite is L'Oreal Lineur Intense (try in Earthen Rock Brown or Carbon Black), if you want gel eyeliner, I recommend Buxom Lashliner (try Suede or Leatherette), and if you want to use pencil, I like Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner (try in Zero or Bourbon). My favorite mascara is Diorshow, but if you want drugstore I really like CoverGirl Lashblast.

A lot of people forget about blusher, but it makes such a huge difference. My favourite powder form is NARS orgasm (it looks good on everyone, but darker skin tones would look better in Exhibit A), my favorite stain is Benefit Benetint (posie tint if you have really fair skin looks good too), and cream is Stila convertible colour in Petunia (if you have fair skin, NARS cream blush in Cactus Flower would look better). You can wear bronzer if you want to, my personal favorite is NARS in Casino. Another product that can make a huge difference is a highlighter, my favorite is Benefit high Beam (you can use moon beam if you have more golden undertones).

And lastly for lips, just a pink gloss would look great, my favorites are Bare Escentuals Buxom Lips in April (if you like a lot of sparkle) and Clinique Long Last Lipwear in Air Kiss (if you like shimmer) and Aveda Lip Shine in Honeysuckle (if you like shine with no sparkles or shimmer).

i think its cute to have thicker liner on the top and on the waterline. you can even use turquoise on you waterline. use lashblast mascara and curl you eyelashes. maybe a light pink blush! dont use foundation unless you use mineral. you can use light eyeshadows, and clear or light pink gloss.

But anyway, I don't wear makeup much unless it's foundation but here's some good, natural ways and then after I'll name fun and funky colors!

Natural:
make your eyes appear larger with a light eyeliner on your water line like white or peach colored so it's not too harsh

on lower lash line use brown to enhance your eyecolor. It's makes most eyes pop 

use a light mascara, blue toned is good because it also makes eyes brighter

and a light pink lip gloss or a nude colour
You relaly don't need a blush but if you do use peach( how to instruction:::::Smile to find the apples of your cheaks then suck yor cheeks in and then bring the blush up but don't do too much orelse you'll look fake :) ). 

fun and funky:
you can use a bubble gum coloured gloss for your lips and when u put it down, instead of running the lipgloss tube along(horizontally) you lips, pull down and do strokes on your lips downwards, this will make our lips plumper

try for blues and purple or even silver eyeliners
 PLEASE don't use too much escpecially if it's black! I hate that lots of girls coat their eyes in black and it makes hem look like they got a racoon to do their makeup. I just find it's too dark and it doesn't make you look beautiful

you can try shadow shading. You highlight your brow bone with a light color like peach and yo do that yo your tear ducts as well or inner corners of your eyes.
Then you pit a lightish color in between lght and dark and put in on your lid then at the end. 
Take a darker color and put it it the crease of your eyes but only on the outer crease and then make a triangle then you blend. 
This is color blending,
Nona dobrev, Miley Cyrus and pretty much EVERY female celebbritis do this!
Then use a mascara
You Can also cotour cheek bones to make them higher or make your cheeks hollowed. You can either use bronzer or a light pink blush. Smile to find the apples of your cheaks then suck yor cheeks in and then bring the blush up but don't do too much orelse you'll look fake :) 

And voilà!!! Youre ready for grade eiht. But can I also recommend nor doing your makeup heavily or doing it all the time. Everyne likes a natutarrly beautiful gal!  Here's some examples!!

If you have blue eyes: use brown eyeshadow! it looks very nice. u just cant overdo that color too much!! same if u have brown eyes... i think that a glittery white eyeshadow look good on hazel and blue eyes... i use this mascara called Great Lash BIG Mascara from Maybelline... (not waterproof) i usually dont put on eyeliner it makes the eyeshadow look better! Hope I Helped
