Im thinking about getting a tatoo on my calf how painful do you think that will be ?

It's not too painful at all.. I could barely feel the outline when I got mine done, and the outline is the most painful part. The color sucked, but I got that done one morning after work when I didn't sleep much the day before.
If you're worried about passing out eat a nice, big healthy meal before you get tattooed. Eating before you get inked (or pierced) will lessen the chance of passing out. Also, the night before, get a good 8 or 9 hours of sleep.

Everyone tolerance of pain varies. It also depends on how big the tattoo is going to be as well. I got a tattoo on my shoulder and I heard rumors about the shoulder being the most painful spot for a tattoo. I was scared but, when I got my tattoo, it did not hurt for me. If anything, it tickled! LOL Therefore, people have different tolerance and we cannot tell you if it will hurt or not. Best of luck to you though!

I have 6 tattoo's and the pain is not that bad on a calf the only way it will hurt alot is when you get a tatto near any bone.

on the back of your calf shouldn't be too awfully bad. It's when it hits bone that it hurts more

A lot of people say the calf hurts more then other places on your body because most of the time your calf has a lot of tough muscle and it seems harder to keep your leg still during the tattoo.
I say go for it, you only live once you know?
