I bite my nails, it's the worst habit. I love those beautiful long nails my whole family has, but mine are nasty! It's hard to paint them too, I always mess up.
So don't!

Nail biting is a horrible habit and bad for you, don't even try it.

just don't do it. You can ger an infection, that will lead to your fingers falling off. I bite my nails, all the time and now they do not grow. They also look odd. Terribblleeeee idea.

Nail biting will weaken your teeth, and can be painful. plus, the nail is a natural protective covering for your finger, having it that low just increases the risk of injuring yourself.

You can get bad infections if the skin is torn, and the nail can also befgin to grow outward (get wider), which can cause painful ingrown fingernails (much like ingrown toenails). These turn red and flare up, and look generally terrible and painful.



But if you still wish to achieve that kind of look, I would suggest going at them with a pair of nail clippers. the finer-sized clippers can reach that far under your nail to slip them. The lack of an edge is caused by the tearing of the end layer off, so cut a small incision into the white area of your nail and tear.

Be warned, however, if you tear too far you could rip off some of the part connected to the skin, and that could cause lots of pain and bleeding.
