Hair tips? Best answer, too.?

Well I have dyed my hair. It's naturally dark red, but i dyed it dark brown.
But my hairs really really thin, and i can never get it to look "flowy" and thick. And when i straighten it, it always comes out weird looking.
And real tips? I don't want you to list some fancy products, just something i can do to make it soft and flowy?
Add a lil moose to it and curl it with a big barrel curling iron then loosen the girls. That should give it some body and volume. Any moose will work. Dont use alot just run it thru your hair real fast then curl it.
