Belly button piercing scar?

hey, i haven't even had my belly pierced for a full 2 weeks, and today i decided to take it out because it gets in the way. anyway, seeing as its been in for such a short time, i was wondering if it will leave any kind of scar, and also what i can do to help heal it. thanks :)

I don't know if taking it out this early will cause a scar, but I do know that it takes months for a naval piercing to properly heal. It could easily get infected if you take it out or it may close up.

To help it heal, clean it daily with warm water, antibacterial soap and maybe mix sea salt with a cup of water. NEVER use any alcohol based product on any piercing. Also, when u start to change jewelry always clean each piece before you put it in.

i had my belly button pierced 9 yrs ago (yikes! that's a long time ago) and i think they use a hollow needle. i took mine out when i was pregnant 4 years ago and i have an ugly scar that looks like a hole. but let me say this, i have NO regrets, i loved it!
